For those who enjoy walking, there is also a beautiful route through the surrounding countryside.<\/p><p>From NOUS, there is a beautiful walking route through the woods to the village, a walk of about 45 minutes. Along the way, you will pass a real French petting zoo and in the morning you can even walk to the best boulangerie we have discovered so far.<\/p><p>In the heart of the village flows a small river where children can play, swim and fish. Around the water, you will find several caf\u00e9s, bistros and wine bars where you can relax on a terrace.<\/p><p>Our personal favourite is Caf\u00e9 du Midi, located in a charming, typical French courtyard.<\/p><p>There are also some great places to eat in the village. La Grange, Caf\u00e9 du Midi and La Salette are all highly recommended. There are also two pizzerias and a local supermarket for your daily shopping.<\/p><p>Tip for your diary: the third weekend of July is when the F\u00eate de l&#8217;Olivier takes place in Bize-Minervois.
